Recruitment process

After the resume submission, the selected candidate will be notified by the recruitment team. There will be two rounds of interviews: technical case study and closing interview. In the technical case assessment, the candidate will have 2 days from the time of receiving the problem via email to complete and return the work. The successful candidate will be invited to the closing interview with the role’s direct supervisor, and potentially a final interview with the Founder.

Product Marketing Specialist (Finance/Trading) (Remote)

About the role

Tartigrade is seeking an experienced Product Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role offers the unique opportunity to:

  • Conduct market research to identify potential customers and assess their needs
  • Collaborate closely with product managers and developers to align the product's features with market needs
  • Design and execute data-driven marketing strategies to promote our trading data tools
  • Liaise with stakeholders in Southeast Asia, leveraging language skills to enhance market penetration
  • Through targeted marketing campaigns, support customer acquisition and retention
  • Engage in non-profit activities to build brand image and corporate responsibility
  • Assist with other office tasks as needed, including administrative support and internal reporting

Reporting directly to the Fund's Chief Investment Officer (CIO), the successful candidate will have the chance to gain practical insights into trading, shaping the future of our market strategies.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of six years of working experience in data analysis
  • A degree in Business Analytics, Marketing, or a related field is preferred, with a minimum GPA of 3.9
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Power BI is essential
  • Strong background in market research, with the ability to identify and analyze market needs
  • Previous experience in the finance or trading sectors is an advantage
  • Must have lived and worked in Southeast Asian countries for the past two years and speak at least one local language fluently
  • Strong engagement in non-profit activities is a plus
  • Possess strong presentation skills
  • Ability to work remotely while effectively collaborating in cross-functional teams and conducting daily online meetings
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work flexibly and collaboratively

Market Analyst

Tartigrade has identified various trading strategies that could prove quite lucrative, but they must first be tested in a simulated environment before implementing them with real money. The Analyst will be responsible to conduct this research, which involves gaining a solid understanding of each trading strategy by receiving training and conducting online research, scoping the research protocol, gathering the necessary market data, organizing the data, running the data through our proprietary market simulator and presenting risk/reward profiles.

The Analyst will also have the opportunity to monitor the day-to-day operation of the Fund. This will involve publishing daily performance reports, understanding the Fund's live positions, fixing bugs in the automated trading platform, assist with project management and assist in upgrading hardware and software.

The Analyst will report directly to the Fund's Chief Investment Officer (CIO) and so will be able to gain real world practical trading insights that are not easily found in textbooks. If the candidate demonstrates strong trading skills and his recommendations lead to the implementation of profitable trading strategies, he/she will be offered a trading role in the organization.

Qualifications

• Strong academic performance, GPA (>3.5/4.0)
• Proficient in Excel and VBA
• Knowledge of C# & SQL is a plus
• A degree in Finance, Computer Science or Engineering preferred
• Enthusiastic about learning about the market securities, especially options trading
• A high degree of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail
• Quick thinker
• Is equipped with a performant home computer with webcam for daily online meetings
• Flexibility around work shifts
